What is BIOS in computer?

    BIOS is an acronym of Basic Input Output System. Bios was store in a computer ROM(Read Only Memory). Bios is an important software of the computer which helps the computer for initial start.

    A computer can never start without this software. Bios runs the POST(Power On Self Start) before loading the operating system on RAM, to ensure that all the hardware part such as hard disk, Processor, RAM, ROM, video card, graphic card, sound card and USB(Universal Serial Bus) port etc. is working properly or not. If this test fails and which hard ware parts have problem, Bios fixes it then loads the operating system in RAM. Due to the bios, the date time setting and other settings in the computer never deteriorate, we should always keep the BIOS up to date.

    BIOS setting is very easy, for this we have to press some function keys in our keyboard, every computer have different function keys(search on internet) to open BIOS setting. To open BIOS setting we need to restart the computer, then press function keys before showing Window logo.
